Australia House - March 11-16 @ Lucille Patio Lounge
Guests at Australia House can enjoy world-class coffee from Hugh Jackman’s ‘Laughing Man Café’, premium Australian wine & cheese pairings with celebrity chef Curtis Stone, and performances by some of Australia’s top musical artists during the annual ‘Sounds Australia Aussie BBQ’. Open to the public, but SXSW badge holders have priority access.
Australia @SXSWTradeShow Exhibition - March 11-14 @ Austin Convention Center
SXSW attendees will also be able to swing by the Australia House booth at the SXSW Trade Show for program information and a big week of networking sessions and business showcases. Registration required.

This event features a dynamic panel and group of speakers who will share previews of global innovations and insights for scaling ventures for impact. Invitation Only.
Impact Innovation VIP Happy Hour - March 10, from 5:30pm-7:30pm
Celebration of Impact Innovation and Global Partnerships. Included in the partnership celebration is the 35th Anniversary of the Sister City relationship between Austin and Adelaide, Australia, showcasing how Tech Ranch and New Ventures Institute (NVI) created demonstrable impact from the relationship that the City of Austin established. Invitation Only.
It's time for Asia House during SXSW! The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce is hosting international guests from Asia; tech firms, musicians as well as our global partners.
Annual Asian Chamber Reception - March 10 @ Austin Central Library Special Event Center
Invited guests include tech firms and partners from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India and Indonesia. There will be a live band, appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar. Please use the Special Event Center entrance on W. César Chávez St as the main library doors will be locked. Last day to RSVP is Friday, March 9. Open to the public, but RSVP is required.
China Gathering at SXSW was launched in the summer of 2016 and officially introduced in March 2017, aims to guide and assist companies from China to merge into Austin’s signature event South by Southwest.

EU House - March 12 @Palm Door
Join EU@SXSW to learn more about the European Union and some of our key initiatives such as the Digital Single Market. Business France is the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy. At SXSW, we showcase 19 disruptive start-ups selected by a panel of expert judges. With the other Europeans delegations, Business France promotes the image of Europe as a place of innovation, creativity and technology.
The Blind Suns - March 15 @ Hotel Vegas
From the Atlantic shore's breeze to the wild slavic lands, french-polish band The Blind Suns joined the edges of Europe to create and shape their own Pop with surf-fuzz guitars and reverb drenched vocal harmonies. They recently worked with US producer Charles Rowell (Crocodiles) on a new release « Offshore » (Deaf Rock Records / Wild Valley Records / early 2018).
German Haus - March 10-14 @ Barracuda
German House is the hotspot for all things Germany @ SXSW. Come by for exhibitions, panels, showcases, parties, & networking. Drinks & food galore. Open to the public, but SXSW badge holders have priority access.
Meet Austin-Saltillo Sister Cities at Casa México 2018! The mission of Casa México SXSW is to display Mexico’s status as a global leader in technology, entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as a modern country with a vast and diverse culture and traditions.

Mexico @SXSWTradeShow Exhibition - March 11-14 @ Austin Convention Center
Mexico will have a special section at the SXSW TradeShow sponsored by the Mexican Ministry of Economy through ProMéxico and INADEM. 14 Mexican startups will have the opportunity to present their products and services at this section. Registration required.
Austin-Lima Sister Cities is excited to announce the inauguration of Casa Perú at SXSW, one of the largest and most influential festivals welcoming creative professionals from a broad range of industries from all over the world. This initiative is a joint effort by Marca PERÚ and Austin-Lima Sister Cities.

Perú will be represented at the SXSW Tradeshow, where Peruvian entrepreneurs and other creative professionals will participate in different panels. Registration required.
Korea Spotlight - March 16, 7:30pm-2am @ The Belmont
KOCCA (Korean Creative Content Agency) returns to SXSW for their 6th annual showcase. Korea Spotlight, formerly known as K-Pop Night Out, presents yet another exciting lineup of Korean artists during the 2018 SXSW Festival. This year’s lineup includes YG Entertaiment’s (PSY, Big Bang, 2NE1) soulful R&B popstar Lee Hi, breakout k-pop quartet KARD, and buzzy pop-futurist CIFIKA. Up-and-coming rap act DPR LIVE, Feel Good Music rapper Junoflo, R&B singer Crush, and 90’s-inspired indie rock quartet Say Sue Me, who recently inked a deal with UK indie Damnably also join the lineup. This showcase will be open to ages 18+. Open to the public, but SXSW badge holders have priority access.

Taiwan @SXSWTradeShow Exhibition - March 11-14 @ Austin Convention Center
Meet the Center of Industrial Accelerator and Patent Strategy, NCTU at Booth: 434. The 2017 Taiwan Startup Gateway Project is organized by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by National Chiao Tung University and the Institute for Information Industry. It provides 3 to 6 months of short term incubation and acceleration assistance, including mentorship, early funding, field testing, and international networking.

Startup Cities: Istanbul, Turkey - March 11, 4:45– 5pm @ Hilton Austin Downtown, Room 400-402
The first-ever Startup Cities event at SXSW will provide the opportunity for individuals to highlight their local startup community and tell the world why their emerging startup city is one of the best places for entrepreneurs to set up a business.
