The Museums and Cultural Programs Division of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Austin Oita Sister City Committee present this free screening to kick-off the Museums and Cultural Programs Division's Japanese Anime Series. Based on a 10th century Japanese folktale, this animated film tells the story of a young girl called “Little Bamboo,” who grows by leaps and bounds.
