• 6:00-6:15 p.m. - Opening remarks

• 6:15-~7:00 p.m. - The Diversity Band and Mixed Blessings concert

• 7:00-7:30 p.m. - Fellowship time

About the Diversity Band:

The Diversity Band is a local drumming and performance team organized by the Austin-Pune Sister City Committee. The Diversity Band honors the culture and music of both Pune, India and Austin, Texas. Composed of members from many ethnic and cultural backgrounds, the Diversity Band plays Indian folk music on traditional Dhol drums but also integrates many other musical instruments and styles from around the world. This event will have music, dancing, food, and fun for ALL AGES!
