Supper Club: Samhain

  • Bottega 2100 Robert Browning St Austin, TX 78723 United States (map)

One Table. Two Cities. A World of Connection.

Join Austin Sister Cities International for the first gathering in Supper Club, an intimate cultural dinner series celebrating Austin’s global relationships through food, tradition, storytelling, and conversation.

Our first table takes inspiration from Ireland and the ancient Gaelic festival of Samhain, a seasonal gathering marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. Around one shared table, twenty guests will experience a chef-prepared Irish harvest supper served for the table, with dishes inspired by the season and traditions that have shaped Irish Halloween customs.

Throughout the evening, we’ll explore the stories behind the food, raise a Samhain toast, and share the tradition of barmbrack and symbolic fortunes—a modern interpretation of one of Ireland’s most enduring Halloween customs.

More than a dinner, Supper Club: Samhain is an evening of cultural connection and citizen diplomacy—an opportunity to gather midweek, slow down, share a meal, and discover the traditions that connect Austin to the wider world.

Twenty seats only. A welcome drink is included in the ticket price.
