Poetry in Many Voices

  • John Gillum Branch Library 2505 Steck Avenue Austin, TX, 78757 United States (map)

In celebration of National Poetry Month, join us for Poetry in Many Voices, a special program honoring the beauty of language and the power of poetry across cultures. Community members will share poems in their native languages, reflecting the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of our community.

A few of our Sister City Committees will also represent ASCI by reading poetry in their native languages.

Come listen, celebrate, and experience how poetry connects us all—across languages, borders, and traditions.

Zell Miller III, the First-ever Austin Poet Laureate will be presenting at the event. Learn more about Austin Poet Laureate program and Zell Miller III by clicking on the link below.
